Meet Almarie, the Visionary Behind Unfading Beauty

Almarie, the owner of Unfading Beauty, is a highly qualified and experienced cosmetologist with over 24 years of industry expertise. Her journey in the beauty world began in George, Western Cape, where she honed her skills and developed a passion for helping others feel confident and beautiful.

From her humble beginnings as a “real farm girl” from Somerset East, Almarie worked her way up to becoming an internationally qualified beauty therapist. She gained valuable experience working in Mossel Bay and abroad before settling in Port Elizabeth, where she spent 15 years building a loyal client base.

As a dedicated mother of two, Almarie balanced her work and family life by working from a salon at home for 7 years. However, when she prayed for guidance on her life’s direction, she was unexpectedly blessed with a new opportunity. Within three weeks, she met a wonderful business partner, Natasha van Wyk, and secured a prime salon space in the heart of Walmer. And so, Unfading Beauty was born.

Inspired by Faith

The name “Unfading Beauty” is rooted in Almarie’s faith, drawing inspiration from 1 Peter 3:4, which speaks of “the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit.” This verse resonates deeply with Almarie, and she has woven it into the salon’s slogan: “Beauty of great worth….” – a testament to the worth and care she brings to every client interaction.
